Return & refund policy
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for Ledgerline, a subscription accounting service operated by Arcoute Software Publishing (sole proprietorship, DTI Business Name Registration No. P-N-2026-8282012), Candon City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Current status: free beta
Ledgerline is free while it’s in beta. We don’t ask for a payment method and we don’t charge anything, so there is nothing to refund yet. What follows applies once paid plans start. We are publishing it now so the terms are settled before anyone is charged.
1. What you are buying
Ledgerline is software you use in a browser. Nothing physical ships, so there is nothing to send back and no return is possible or required. A subscription buys access for one month at a time.
2. Cancelling
Cancel any time from the Billing screen. No cancellation fee, no minimum contract. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
3. Refunds
We refund in full for a duplicate or double charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, and any billing or technical error on our side. Unauthorised charges are investigated and refunded where confirmed. For a prolonged service failure attributable to us, we refund or credit the affected period.
If you simply cancel partway through a paid month, access runs to the end of that month. Fees already paid for that month or an earlier one are not refunded, and we do not split a month into days. We can hold to that only because we tell you the price, the renewal date and how to cancel before you agree to pay anything. Where the law requires a refund, the law wins over this policy.
Your data is always yours. You can export your books and records at any time, including after cancellation.
4. How to request a refund
Email arcouteenterprises@gmail.com. Tell us the account email, roughly when you were charged and for how much, and what went wrong. We’ll reply within two (2) business days and aim to settle it within seven (7) business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank usually posts the credit within one or two billing cycles.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes any non-waivable right or remedy under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394), the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (RA 11967), or other applicable law. If you were charged without proper disclosure or consent, tell us and we’ll put it right. See also our Dispute Resolution Policy.
